When opening the CBAM assessment, you can see a short description of the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) regulation on top.
After that, you can see your quarterly CBAM requests per customer displayed in the table:
- Use the search bar if you would like to directly search for specific customer requests.
- Request Date: This indicates on which day your customer has sent you the CBAM request.
- Customer: You can directly see which customer of yours has requested the CBAM data. The data is only shared with this specific customer.
- Quarter: You can see for which quarter your customer is requesting data.
- Due Date: This is the date by which you should have finalized the request. It is very important for your customer to stick to this deadline. Please contact your customer if you are not able to meet this deadline.
- Status: You can directly see which requests are still to do, in progress, completed or overdue. These status updates are set automatically from IntegrityNext based on your data uploads. You cannot set the status individually.
Please click on the button in the last right column to open a specific CBAM request. To complete this CBAM request and share the data with your customer, these 3 steps are necessary:
1. Download Template:
Please click on the text “Download MS-Excel Template from quarter here”, which is underlined in blue and open this file.
2. Add Data:
Please enter the CBAM product data in the MS-Excel Template. It is pre-filled with information from your customer (for example article details, importer information).
Please do not add any additional article lines or change any pre-filled information. Only add data in the white and empty fields.
You can find a video tutorial with a detailed description of this template and how you can fill it out in the helpdesk section “Video Tutorials”.
3. Submit:
Save this file and upload it in the drop zone below. You can either click on “Select file” or you can directly put it in the drop zone by drag-and-drop.
After that, our system is running an automated validation of your data. This validation step is also explained in one of our video tutorials. After your data has been successfully validated and there are no errors, you can complete the import. That means that your data has been successfully transferred to your customer and you have finalized your CBAM obligation.
