IntegrityNext has created its own CBAM template to share your product and emissions data with your customer. This template is less complex than the official template provided by the European Commission and contains guidance for you. However, we aligned the required fields with the EU template, so that you can simply transfer the figures and data in the IntegrityNext template if you have already filled out the EU template. This should be a quick process, as no additional data gathering is necessary.

When you download and open the MS-Excel template of IntegrityNext, you can see at the bottom different tabs:

  • First tab “Enter product & emissions data”:
  • You only need to fill in data within this tab. Very important: Please do not change the format of this tab, the order or header of any column.
  • You can see a big yellow note box, which includes helpful descriptions of each column, and indicates which data is needed from you. Please read that box carefully. If done so, you can delete it or move it within the spreadsheet.
  • Pre-filled data: This is information that your customer has already pre-filled for you. Please do not change this pre-filled data (for example article information).
  • White & empty fields: In these fields, information from you is needed. Only fill out the empty & white fields.
  • Yellow fields: Please ignore these fields, as they are automatically filled by IntegrityNext depending on your previous inputs. Please also do not delete the defined formula for these fields.
  • Grey fields: Please ignore these fields, as they are not relevant for you. They are only relevant for specific cases (for example for specific articles).

  • Second tab “Guidance”:
  • You can find detailed information about different aspects of CBAM in this tab, which helps you to fill out the data. There are 3 sections:
    1. “What is the EU’s CBAM and are you affected as a supplier?” with a lot of more questions & answers
    2. “How to measure and report GHG emissions of CBAM goods to importers?” with a glossary of CBAM terms and a step-by-step explanation how to measure emissions
    3. “Explanation for each column in the template (tab “Enter product data here”)” with a detailed description of the data that is requested from you.

  • All other tabs:
  • The other tabs are just for your general information, as these are drop-down menus that are included in the first tab.
  • You can find helpful information there, such as a list of all CBAM affected CN-Codes with their descriptions and a full list of all 2-digit ISO Country Codes.
  • You do not need to fill in or change any information in these tabs!
